After the success of the Leonardo redevelopment work we really wanted to do the same for Grundtvig. We wanted that the journey through the application process to be as smooth as possible and one that catered for organisations and individuals.
Looking at the homepage you can see, at a glance, our opportunities. We’ve combined this with a clear and easy left hand navigation which follows the stages of your grant, right through from your initial objectives to your day to day activities:
We’ve also introduced several new pages to the site, the first new page is New to Grundtvig. It covers the key facts of the programme, why you should get involved and gives examples of what projects organisations have undertaken with Grundtvig funding as well as what training activities individuals have been funded to take part in.
The next new section is Developing your application, for those new to Grundtvig funding it gives you 4 clear steps to getting started. It also signposts you to other helpful information such as meeting us in person at one of our Information Days.
With the 2013 Call for Proposals recently released, we’ve streamlined the information on our How to Apply page to show you exactly what funding you can apply for and when the deadline is.
If your application is successful our new section on Reporting on your grant will help you showcase your success and keep us up to date with the benefits and impact of your project or training activity. For Partnerships and Senior Volunteering projects the page also acts as a signpost to further information on the more detailed reporting required by these actions.
At any stage of your grant you will find our Managing your grant section useful. Even if you are only beginning to think about your aims and objectives you will find tips on preparing and planning. You can also access our Resource Centre which includes our videos, publications and project directories which will provide inspiration and advice for every stage of your grant.
You can still find all your old favourites on the new and improved Grundtvig site. From Projects around the UK, don’t forget you can submit a case study to appear yourself, to our news and events, there is everything you need to get involved and keep up to date with Grundtvig.
We’re always here to listen to your suggestions. Please free to comment below with any feedback that you have and what you’d like to see for the future.
